Kayu Resort is located in the small country of El Salvador in the La Libertad region on the beach, in front of the Sunzal surf break in Sunzal, next to the town of El Tunco. Kayu Resort is a seaside 7-room boutique resort with expansive ocean views and adjacent bar and grill on the beach. The resort was built with premium materials to North American standards and has high-end amenities. Exotic Tropical Hardwood used throughout the resort that was imported from SE Asia as well high-end and custom tile and furniture from both Guatemala and El Salvador. The resort was conceived, designed and built by the owners Steve and Robin Wilson who completed construction in 2009 and opened their doors to visitors in 2010. A Private Custom two-story Master Casa was designed and completed in 2015. The private Master Casa includes 2 bedroom and 2 bath with customized kitchen and living room area all with breath-taking Ocean Views. Private Casa Pool, Large Garden, large Bodega and separate laundry facilities. Competing business demands from their primary business Kayu International currently make the management of the resort impractical and the Wilson’s wish to sell the property. The Kayu Resort is offered for sale by The Wilson’s at $3.1 Million U.S. Dollars.
